does very well, will knead 10 lbs of dough, fits well under standard counter height to the cabinet above. Accessories work very well.

I hated this model because it was too difficult to get the beaters out of the bowl when there was dough in it, primarily because the head doesn't tilt back. My husband bought me the less expensive one that the head tilts and I love it. I ended up giving the professional model away. All of them are extremely heavy so you pretty much have to leave them where you are going to use them.

Best Mixer I've ever owned

I'm 68 yrs old and have owned a lot of mixers, many were KitchenAids and by far this is best I've ever owned. It handles everything I've thrown at it; from grindings meats for sausages, to whipping cream, and everything in between.

I upgraded from the 5 quart artisan to the 7 qt. I use both now. 7 qt is great for making 6 dozen cupcakes easily and quick. It's quiet, fast and everything I need for baking as a cottage food operation and running my small business. This is the best price, I'll only buy from Overstock for all my kitchenaid needs.

I had already a 4.5 quart stand mixer for over two years with all the optional attachments and liked it well-enough. I'm a retired US Navy cook that loves to cook and bake. I read the reviews of the 7-Qt model I just purchased from my pals on various baking websites and decided to save my money and buy this WONDERFUL beast!! You bet, I would say to anyone who bakes a lot: "Save your money and buy this KitchenAid 7-Qt stand mixer...You'll be glad you did!! You bet your bottom dollar!!"

I have gone through multiple KitchenAid mixers due to my heavy use, making bread, pizza dough, grinding wheat, etc. I have been wanting the Commercial model, and finally in July, I got one. Great decision, great mixer! It is quieter than the last one I used (6 qt. model) and works great with everything I've mixed so far!

I have a big Italian family and its not unusual to cook for 30+ people. We make homemade breads and pastas This mixer is unstoppable. I also use the grinder for my Fig cookies and to make homemade Italian sausage. Additionally, I use the dough hook to mix my meatball mixture.
