For the price point, the 300 series has been great. Looks good, has well placed (hidden) controls, is very quiet when running, and (most importantly) does a great job cleaning dishes. It turns out to be very important to use Jet Dry, otherwise the dishes do come out wet. I like the flexibility of easily moving the middle rack up & down (or even tilted), and like the top thin rack for longer utensils. After about 2 months of use, I'm very satisfied with this model and would definitely buy it again.

After our last two dishwashers from a competitor barely lasting 5 years, we decided to go for a brand with superior reliablity ratings. We have been very happy with the noise level, washing results, and apparently increased load capacity on our new Bosch 300 dishwasher as well as the expected reliability.
The installation from our local dealer was also top notch - arrived on time, quick and efficient, and gave us an overview of operations on the unit.
We've been very happy with our new Bosch, and our 5 star review reflects our experience.

This is my first Bosch appliance and I am very satisfied. The dishwasher is "hear a pin drop" quiet and works well. I love the "rinse" feature which eliminates a need to rinse dishes before using the dishwasher and is a water saver.

Replacing what we believed to be a quiet and effective machine from one of Boschs well known competitors we were amazed at how clean it gets everything, on all three racks and it does it almost silently. The third rack is superb, increasing capacity substantially and making loading/unloading so much easier. This is definitely the best dishwasher we have owned and it is our third Bosch.

I bought 2 of these dishwashers. One has worked great. The other arrived broken (on/off button would not work so dishwasher would not turn off). Repaired under warranty.
A year later that same broken dishwasher now releases excessive steam from the top door and has damaged the adjacent cabinet. I am having difficulty getting a repair technician. I say you have 50% chance of getting a good dishwasher.

This is the first Bosch appliance we have owned. I purchased it because our 3 year old high end DW was deemed unrepairable after repeatedly losing power for no reason. It was the second DW of the same brand that was deemed unrepairable and fortunately both were under a service contract.
I did a lot of research before purchasing the Bosch unit and have been satisfied with my choice. It's a very quiet machine and does a very good job. Dishes come out clean and with a few exceptions, dry.
Now for the quirks.
My biggest complaint has to do with the drying agent. If the machine is out of drying agent an indicator light comes on. That's fine, but the machine won't even run unless you go through a reprogramming process and set the dispensed amount to 0. At least I believe that is the only way to get the machine to start washing if the drying agent is empty. So if you run out of drying agent you have to reprogram the machine. When you buy another bottle and refill the machine you have to reprogram the machine again. This is the dumbest thing I have seen in a long time. The indicator should be just that, and indicator.
When the cycle is finished and the door is opened the machine does not simply go dark. The control buttons on the top of the door continue to flash and reset themselves to a cycle different from the one that just completed. You would think that when the wash cycle completed the machine would simply shut off and keep the previous cycle information.
The direct wiring kit makes the electrical hookup easy except for one thing. The size of the kit is higher than the bottom recess at the back of the machine. Because of that the machine will not install flush with the wall if the only place to install the kit is behind the machine. I had to cut away some of the sub floor to make it fit.
There was one instance when the controls would not respond but after some button pressing everything was fine. It only happened one time.
I like the features of my old machine better but the reliability was just not there. Hopefully this new Bosch will prove to be a better choice in the long run.

We purchased our Bosch dishwasher from ABT and had it installed. Everything was superb! Our dishwasher is quiet, efficient and cleans better than our other model. We are very happy with the styling and the roomy interior of the unit. Cannot be happier!!

Been waiting for the Bosch DW to be back in stock! Had 2 in my last home over 20 years, so this is my 3rd Bosch dishwasher over the past 23 years. Great cleaning power, like the third rack for utensils, and the height adjustments for the middle rack to accomodate long-stem wine glasses.

It is my third Bosch dishwasher. It's replacing one that could not be repaired after 9 years of very light use in a vacation house. It does an excellent job of washing the dishes, but we don't leave food on them. I bought this brand again because it was so highly rated.

I have had this new dishwasher for about a month and have really put it through its paces. I could not be more pleased with how every piece of cutlery, glasses, dish. or pots and pans come out clean and shiney!

We moved from a house with a great Bosch dishwasher to a house with a lousy 3-year-old other brand. As soon as we could get one, we replaced it with this unit and we could not be happier. Dishes are perfectly clean and I never have to rinse them. I love the secret upper rack and all the space too. It's exactly what I expect from Bosch and it's a solid winner.

The only thing that fits right are the plates. The bowls cannot be placed anywhere that makes sense. The glasses fall over and the silverware sticks in the basket. It says 16 settings but that is plates only. cleaning is fine and it is quiet. The displsy is hard to read on delay start.

I love this new dishwasher. We used to have problems with dishes not coming out clean, but with the new Bosch it's been perfect. You can load dishes closely but they will still be clean and dry. Plastics may be damp, but this doesn't bother me.

Overall I am very pleased with the dishwasher. I bought this model with the handle because I wanted to have a place to hang a dishtowel very close to my kitchen sink (the dishwasher is right beside the sink). However is practice using this for a dishtowel rack is not practical. The towel drags on the floor everytime you open the dishwasher to add or remove dishes. Had I thought this through before I would have purchased the comparable model without the handle and the controls/displays on the front. Having the display on front would also have been nice to see where the cycle is at.

Bought this washer less than three years ago. It requires the absolute top of the line tabs and the strongest setting, which takes 2 hours and 40 minutes to get an OK clean. Then dishes are left wet with standing water, even with rinse aid AND rinse aid in the tabs you HAVE to use the highest settings. It's very quiet, that's good. And if you do everything just right, it cleans the dishes. I FINALLY got the thing figured out, how to make it actually clean the dishes and now it is flashing two lights on the LED screen, like it's broken. No numbers, no code, just broken. I assume it's the control board, but can't find a replacement part. That's why I'm here, on this page. It shouldn't be this difficult. I paid good money for this washer and I should be happy about it. So far, I'm not.

We looked at most of the different bosch dishwasher models to compare features. We liked the third shelf for silverware and wanted an all stainless steel tub. We did not look at any other brand dishwashers since our previus one was a bosch and it was quiet and reliable. he 300 series had the features we wanted at a price point that was reasonable to us.

We have an open concept floorplan and sometimes when Im watching television closeby I think I've forgotten to turn on the dishwasher because it's so quiet. Dishes come out squeaky clean. Be sure to use rinse agent. I also use the "extra dry" setting.

This Bosch dishwasher cleans thoroughly and quietly. I love the top rack for serving utensils and I just learned how to adjust the height of the next rack down to fit wine glasses. It was easy and I love how adjustable this dishwasher is. I've never had a dishwasher that worked this well.

This dishwasher is a complete and total joke. The standard wash cycle takes more than two hours to complete, Dishes are NEVER dry (even with rinse aid, unless you click the Extra Dry setting). As a result, the dishwasher smells like a mildew-filled swamp at all given times. It's a really baffling oversight: tantamount to creating a car without breaks, and saying "good luck"!
The actual dishwashing is okay, but it's not an order of magnitude above your ordinary dishwasher, like i'd expect for the pricepoint and the inexplicable failure to make DRYING one of the reliable features.
This Bosch unit's performance is so bafflingly poor, I've found myself longing for the much cheaper GE dishwasher I got this to replace.

When we moved we left our Bosch dishwasher behind. Fortunately we specified a new Bosch dishwasher with our builder.We love the quiet operation. The red light shining on the floor let us know when the cycle ends. The third rack is great for spatulas and other cooking utensils. There are multiple washing options. We particularly the half-load option.

I needed a replacement diswasher, confirmed thorugh Consumer Reports that this diswasher was highly rated and reliable. I got it and started using it and was not happy with all of the water in the diswasher when it finished 'drying'. A week or so later received an email from Bosch with tips for the problem (use Rinse-Aid and extra dry selection) and it worked! I've never had cleaner dishes and drier dishes - even plastic ware. Also, you can dry plastic ware on the lowest rack - love that feature.

i installed our BDW in less a hour! Bosch it was fine for over 2 weeks! We had started on a Friday am and left for our beach house when we returned Sunday the BDW didn't finish the rinsed cycle. BDW was full of water!
We had a repair man last week and had to order and control panel.
We had Bosch DW over 17 years and i expect to have fixed it will 15 years or so!

The brand new unit would start but then stop flashing the red light indicating a fault. We had a repairman come out and he told us in short that it's a common user error. The new units have software that requires the door to be shut very quickly after hitting start, otherwise it will fault. He said it's a very common house call he gets with the new models. FAIL ON BOSCH's part, especially since this time sensitive process is not in the manual. One more constructive criticism is that I wish there was a light indicating if the cycle is complete and dishes are clean. If you are not there to hear the complete alarm, you would not know if it was done

On a positive note, dishes are clean. But even on a full 2.24 hr cycle everything is wet. I have to hand dry dishes, utensils, glasses and cups everytime. I now use a shorter cycle because it doesn't matter how long it runs, everything is wet. Thank goodness I'm retired and have the time to do that. I'd be frantic if I worked and had a family to take care of and had to spend that much time 'emptying the dishwasher'. One tip - I finally took the top rack out as I didn't use it a whole lot and the water on it dripped onto everything below. I bought this Bosch because of it's reputation for lasting a long time. Now I'm stuck with it... for a long time.

I like this dishwasher because it is very quiet, it does very good job cleaning dishes. It has another top drawer for serving pieces. Since my dishes are not very dirty I use often 1 hour program.

This is the best appliance I've ever purchased. I am amazed to see how clean my dishes come out, even without pre-rinsing and scrubbing. The top silverware rack with dedicated spray nozzle is genius. Only one thing I would change.. I wish it was a bit easier to change settings. I was not expecting that the settings I initially chose would need a hard boot of the dishwasher to change. Still, I feel this is very minor. The gift of sparkling clean dishes makes me smile every single day.
