I bought this oven 3 years ago. There are electrical surges on my country, that is the reason why, the oven displayed F16 or F14 on the dialog. The technician changed the card, and the oven would not work. Now, it needed a complete change of the electrical panel. Called your company requested an estimate, and the part costs 1250.00, plus the instalation, plus the card that got burned again.

This oven came with a new construction summer house I purchased in 2011. I never had electrolux before and was a bit cautious. The dishwasher had some problems from the start that was fixed under warranty. After not being used since last August, the oven is now broken first time I turned it on in May. Has an error code I am told may cost several hundreds to fix if the part is even available. Only used it a dozen times over fives years and now broken and probably needs to be replaced. Piece of junk.

This is the first new oven I have had in 25 years and love the gliding racks, the clean blue interior and plenty of interior light. I have used the perfect turkey option and it was perfect! My only disappointment is convection baking. I have made cookies several times but can't say I see an immense difference in the baking time or quality.

I have reallyy enjoyed my oven. I have two of them and they work great so far. The fan is a bit on the loud side but from my experience all convection ovens have a fan that is noticeable. And once you have the television and kids running around you never notice it. That is why I gave the design 4/5. This oven has alot of features, most of which I will probably never use but it's nice to have them available to try.

We put this wall oven beneath our Electrolux cooktop. All the functions are great except that the screen is very touchy. It is very easy to lean against the control panel and accidentally change the settings. But the oven functions very well, and I especially love the fully extending shelves.

Love the rolling racks in this oven and the cool touch door. The inside is a beautiful blue. The controls are easy to use and the safety lock is a plus. The convection option is also nice to have. We have owned ours for 3 years. We use it only once in a while, maybe 2-3 times a month. It no longer heats. At all. Through some research we've found that other people have had similar problems and were able to correct it simply by pressing the reset button. That is the good news. The reset button is located at the back of the wall oven. That is the bad news. Will have to let a repairman come out and charge us to press the button. I had to give Quality only 1 star as I grew up with stoves that didn't konk out until after a good 15 years or more. For the price I would have expected ours to last way longer than 3 years. The Features are great, as mentioned above, which is why we chose this oven over so many others.The Design gets 2 stars -- put the reset button in front, and make the oven more reliable, and that would be worth extra stars!

We updated our kitchen with two of these ovens-- one underneath an electrolux induction cooktop and one in the kitchen island. Love the design-- sleek and minimal, and that the control lights fade when not in use. There are many options on this oven, many of which I haven't yet used, but so far I love the "keep warm" mode that can be programmed to switch on after the higher cooking time is done. Great for hectic times when you're trying to finish several dishes simultaneously. Also like the "perfect turkey" mode that relies on the reading of the temperature probe to adjust temperature. Takes the guesswork out of when turkey is done without the risk of drying it out. I have a 2-year-old so the door & control lock features are a must-- my only wish is that it was possible to lock the door & controls when the oven is on as well as off.

So we have two of these unit. They cook well, easy to use and we are generally happy with both. But one of the oven make a strange noise while it is in its Bake cycle. Even during preheat to 350 it will occasionally make a strange thud sound. We called a service technician and believe it or not, while he was there it didn't happen. Of course! The other wall oven does not make the noise. How strange is that. It is random during the back cycle. Broil seems ok. Every appliance we have in our kitchen is made by Electrolux. All work well. But the noise is a little disconcerting

Great oven, difficult to reset breaker

Love the cooking features and controls. Makes outstanding roasts, bakes evenly, convection feature cooks evenly and quickly. Only trouble I had was with the self cleaning feature. In all honestly, I had not removed the racks and metal rails prior to using this feature, as it states in the owners manual(huh?). When the cleaning was less than satisfactory, I ran it through another cleaning cycle, and then it stopped heating altogether.After several weeks of scratching my head looking for a reset breaker, I finally called a repair person. They had informed me the reset is internal, in the back of the oven, and there is no user access. Since I had installed it myself, I turned off the power at the house breaker and removed the oven. after removing like 11 or 12 screws, I removed the rear panel. With the help of an online diagram, I located the heat/overload breaker and reset it.Now the oven works as new, but I am hesitant to use the self clean feature.Love this oven!

I built a new house about 4 years ago. I decided I wanted really really good Appliances for my new kitchen. I'm picky! I have friends who are gourmet cooks that spent gobs of $$$ on their ovens but I don't like them. The minute I saw this Electrolux I knew it was THE oven for me. I knew it would be my workhorse oven. 2 things sold me immediately. The blue interior when the light goes on means no dark corners to see how things are cooking. The 30" interior size. A roasting pan with turkey or big roasts fit like a tiny filet. No problem. Racks slide like a breeze even with big bird on it! I even splurged & bought the 6 burner gas range with electric oven. I cook for large family holiday meals & cooking is so easy. The only thing missing is Kelly Rippa dancing thru my kitchen! She's invited anytime...the tea kettle is on the Electrolux range top!

I love this oven. Smooth glide racks are important to me as I have back problems and I want to easily lift heavy roasts out of the oven. Other ovens have glide racks but several I tested were not as smooth. When I received this oven, one rack was smooth and the other "screechy". I called the company and they immediately sent me a new, very smooth, glide rack. I have two ovens, this and a Kenmore in our basement kitchen. The Kenmore is inconsistent and I need to adjust the temperature every time so that it won't burn food. This Electrolux is right at temperature, every time. I have cooked triptip to a perfect medium rare, large trays of cookies and many cakes and they have turned out beautifully. No hot spots or burnt back edges.My only complaint is that the oven is a bit narrow. When I put a family size Papa Murphy's pizza in it, about two inches of the pizza must curl up on the glass window of the oven. But I do like that I can cook two pizzas at once on convention (switching them 1/2 way on upper lower racks) and neither burn or stay undercooked. And the curled bit on the window cooks just fine without any mess. I would definitely buy this oven again.

The oven looks so nice in my kitchen. It actually changed the look of my kitchen. My kitchen looks modern and classy.I love all the features. I am a big baker and this oven has consistently turned out great results.The only drawback I can find is the preheat time is longer than other ovens. I have been told it is because the heating elements are all internal. I love the look of that, and the ease of cleaning the inside, so it is a trade off I am willing to put up with.I also have an Electrolux fridge and the combination looks amazing in my kitchen.

This oven is a cook's dream! I have owned this oven since last March, and each time I use it, I am pleasantly surprised, either due to a new setting I have discovered, or by the wonderful results. The features are incredible - even some features that I thought I would likely never use - I am happy to admit I am enjoying each and every feature, This oven is easier, quicker, or more precise than any appliance I have used. The convection convert feature is wonderful, the bread proofing is a handy tool, and the dehydrate function is a fun treat. Energy efficient and roomy enough to roast a turkey breast, while cooking a vegetable souffle, and heat garlic bread at the same time means not having to worry about one dish for dinner being ready before the rest of the meal. This oven has effectively eliminated the use for several of my other convenience appliances - such as my slow cooker and my warming drawer, I cannot wait to use the "Perfect Turkey" setting, this Thanksgiving!

This is a great oven. It heats quickly, cooks evenly and I love the touch controls. I was disappointed to learn that the racks could not be cleaned during the self-clean process. What good does it do to clean the walls of the oven if you don't also clean the racks?Recently, when I tried to use the self-clean feature, it is not operational, a message repeatedly appearing that the racks must be removed while they ARE removed.There is excessive condensation around the door of the oven which is damaging the wooden cabinetry.

I have owned this oven with wave touch controls for four months now. It does everything it is advertised as doing, and does it very very well. When used with the included meat probe, meat comes out just as you want it. The oven converts cook time for you when using the convection feature. I am extremely pleased with this oven. The quality is immediately apparent when you open the door or look at the racks. I recommend this oven without reservation. Well with the money.

Resolution of initial failure

Familiar with durability and longevity of Electrolux products having resided in Europe and the USA, I chose Electrolux kitchen appliances based on their function, form, and reliability. The wall oven was used three times since installation and after the third use, the main controller circuit board failed. This despite having a whole house surge suppressor on the incoming electrical lines to the house circuit panel. Electrolux technical phone support was efficient and very good at diagnosing and having me confirm the board was bad. I placed a call to the local service provider and was dissapointed when they showed up without the part and informed me they had to verify themselves the part was defective. This led to additional delays as they did not have the part in their stock and had to be located in a warehouse. On top of that, the oven had gone out of warranty due to home construction delays on the part of my initial contractor so this required paying a service charge over $440 to get the oven back in Service.The oven has been operating almost a full year since the controller was replaced without further issues. It gets a moderate amount of use, performs as expected and is very accurate in maintaining temperature. Cooking results are excellent. The self-cleaning feature works extremely well.This oven has many feautures documented in the user manual that simplifies operation so it pays to familiarize onself with the capabilities this oven has. I am fully satisfied with its performance, features, and appearance.

The oven that can't be fixed

I loved this oven for the first year and a half that I owned it. It is now three years old. After the first year and a half, it began to incinerate my food no matter what the temperature was set at. It was repaired 3 times over a two month period. They replaced the temperature sensor. Then the oven did not get hot enough. They replaced the main circuit board. TWICE! It worked for 8 months and once again would not heat up properly. I've had the repairman out 4 times in the last 6 weeks. Again they replace the temperature sensor and the main circuit board. It heated up to 350 yesterday when the repairman was here; when I go to cook in it today, it only heats up to 250 degrees even though it is set at 425. I can't bake and I HATE this oven!

All around, it is a beautiful as well as functional addition to our kitchen remodel. I have used the "Perfect turkey" and it roasts a "perfect turkey", my 4 year old grandson and I bake a lot together. It is safe and perfect for him to "Wave" the controls on and off. I love the soft, elegant timer sounds, I love the color, I love the absence of the bottom element (ease of keeping the oven clean) but still has excellent even cooking! The cooking racks are easy in and easy out! This is a terrific appliance!

I bought this oven over a year ago to replace the builder bult-in oven (GE). I have to admit ... I'm not a very good cook so over the years I have had a "love-hate" relationship with many appliances. This is one of the first ones that I love unconditiionally! :-) The oven cooks evenly, quietly and the racks roll out so effortlessly. The cobalt blue interior is just gorgeous, the convection fan is great and the self cleaning feature is TERRIFIC. It has a "temperature probe" you can insert into meats to digitally read out their internal temperature. I have been able to make the most OUTSTANDING prime rib in this oven. So any appliance that makes ME look like a great cook .... is a GREAT APPLIANCE in my book!!!I've read the other reviews and have not experienced ANY of the problems that others have mentioned (a hum, etc.) I did have the unit professionally installed and highly recommend others do so.

What I did find out is to clear out the demo setting then it will work much better for you :) I set up all my fav's for my husband to use so all he has to do is push one button and its ready! I also love how much faster it cooks. My pefect turkey was so good we did not want to cut it and it cook so much faster then what we thought it would! I was ready before my family showed up! First time for that.

Not all silver parts are steinless steel

The piece pooping out above the main handle, and under the wave touch control, which is silver, is just plastic, my kids chipped it and it is peeling, the part is white plastic, VERY DISAPPONTED!!!! We paid for what was suppose to be steinless steel strong long lasting oven, not a steinless steel look alike, white cheap white plastic parts cover in silver coloring.

Some very nice features

We selected this electric wall oven as a basic unit to supplement a freestanding 36 range. The nicest and most appreciated feature is a bread-rising setting, which we had not been fully aware of at the time of selection. The "wave-touch" part of the control system is a little too gimicky, and not the easiest to get to work. I live in fear that the electronic fancies will self destruct, leaving us with a non-functional unit and a thousand dollar repair bill.

We've had this oven for a year and are still discovering the amazing features and sophisticated cooking programs. The temperature probe is spot on accurate, and the speed with which the oven preheats is astonishing. Great oven.
